The Hellenic Scientific Society for International and European Political Economy (EDEPO) started as an informal network of academics and experts in the field of International and European Political Economy in Greece (Hellenic Network of International and European Political Economy - EDDEPO) at the initiative of the Research Center for Economic Policy, Governance and Development (EKOPDA). The network soon evolved and the Society was officially founded in 2024 with full legal personality as a Civil Non-Profit Company (NPO). The main objective of EDEPO is to promote research and fostering dialogue through the systematic study of International and European Political Economy.
Through research collaborations, initiatives and scientific publications, EDEPO aims to contribute to public debate through evidence-based analysis to understand and address the challenges that shape modern economies and societies, as well as the international system as a whole.
